Munich is a very large city with so many things to see and do. It is also home of the Oktoberfest. While I enjoy going to the big Oktoberfest in Munich. It is usually more fun just to find one in a smaller town. The crowds aren't near as large and you don't have to reserve your tables in advance.
Besides the Oktoberfest there is still so much to do in Munich. You can visit the historical site at Dachau. Which was a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. You can vist the original Hofbräuhaus. Have a beer and some food. There is a fest hall in the Hofbräuhaus where you can get an Oktoberfest feel without the big crowds.
Of course no one should miss the main town square known as the Marienplartz. This is one of the worlds most famous clocks is located. The Glockenspiel. See the video of the Glockenspiel on the multimedia page.
